The new agreement is valid up to the end of September 2012 and it includes a universal pay rise of one percent for 2010 and an 0.4% rise, whose sharing is subject to local agreement. In 2011, pay will increase with an 0.8% universal rise and an 0.4% locally-distributed amount.
The parties also agreed to continue their effort to modernise pay.
The collective labour agreement for forestry experts applies to some 1,600 employees who mostly work in tasks associated with timber harvesting and processing.
