Collective labour agreements that support the forest industry’s competitiveness

The Finnish Forest Industries Federation lobbies its members’ interests in labour issues and influences work-life legislation. Our objective is to negotiate collective labour agreements that support the forest industry’s international competitiveness.

The Finnish Forest Industries Federation’s member companies employ 48,000 workers and administrative staff in Finland. Their working conditions are determined by collective agreements that the Finnish Forest Industries Federation negotiates with workers’ organisations.

The Finnish Forest Industries Federation guides and trains member companies in the application of agreements and labour legislation. Furthermore, the Finnish Forest Industries Federation assists member companies with employment issues and conveys information about the labour markets in Finland and abroad.
