Climate and forests
The amount of carbon dioxide stored by Finnish forests continue to grow. The annual growth of Finnish forests is approximately 100 million cubic metres with total drain of 70 million cubic metres annually. Wood-based products also store carbon dioxide and can substitute CO2 intensive materials and fossil fuels.
